Greenwood Cemetery Partnership

Pete Barrett of PHS was once again instrumental in helping combine Normandy and Pattonville High School teachers to continue beautifying Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, November 25th.  Approximately 45 people worked hard to knock out a large portion of the lower level.

Below are pictures from Tuesday, March 26th, 2009 which was the 1st time Normandy and Pattonville High Schools combined to work at Greenwood Cemetery.

Normandy and Pattonville High Schools joined efforts and what a tremendous day it was as staff and students from each school enjoyed beautiful weather.  Pattonville teacher Pete Barrett along with the PHS and NHS administrations should be congratulated on such an impressive showing by their staff and students.  Head stones were stood upright, trees cut and dragged, grass cut, dirt filled into open holes, trash collected, rakes used, etc.  A immense "Thank You" goes out to all who contibuted in this event with close to 150 people working towards a great cause in preparation for the memorial dedication to Hariott Scott in May.

Friends of Greenwood are grateful you came and hope you will join us again soon.
